| Janet Russell isn’t Superhuman After All |  To err is human, to forgive, divine. Hopefully Janet Russell takes Alexander Pope’s words on board, as last night our gig guide had her playing both Bacup Folk Club and Skipton Folk Unplugged at 8.30 pm.
This would be a neat trick if she could manage it (think of the increased earning potential) but despite Ms Russell’s undoubted versatility, it’s doubtful that she’s mastered the art of being in more than one place at the same time.
We trust that the gig at Skipton Folk Unplugged went well and that the bods at Bacup Folk Club enjoyed their scheduled sing around. It’s tempting to blame computer error but that would be no fun. So we’ll be hunting down the person responsible for the mistake and doing bad things to them.
