Folk against Facism continues to prosper and the organisation are releasing a compilation series of cds, the first of which can be ordered now.
Artists featured include Show of Hands, Bellowhead, Lau, The Unthanks, Roy Bailey, Chumbawamba, Imagined Village, Blowzabella, Christy Moore, Shirley & Dolly Collins, Kate Rusby, Andy Cutting and Chris Wood.

Bows at the Ready
Mellor Brook Fiddle Day takes place on Saturday with three established tutors taking classes over the course of the day.
Things finish off in the evening with a concert featuring Nick Wyke & Becki Driscoll, a duo from North Devon who specialise in English traditional music. The show will also feature Mellor Brook's own fiddle group, The Palatine Fiddlers as well as it's leader, Julian Taylor who will be accompanied by Blackburn guitarist, Richard Moss. For Folk’s Sake Scouse Style
For Folk’s Sake Liverpool branch hold their second event on Friday 12th March at Leaf Tea Shop and Bar. The main men (and women) are The Monster Ceilidh Band from Newcastle, with Lancaster based outfit Dan Haywood's New Hawks and local band The Bottletop Millionaires providing support.
The next Manchester event takes place on Thursday 18th March at the Zion Arts Centre, 335 Stretford Road, Hulme, M15 5ZA. It’s a special night and features Anna Kashfi, poet Mab Jones, Honeyfeet and Kiss My Heart's Sarah Evans.
