North West Folk is sad to record the passing of Allan Mayall, a stalwart of the folk scene around Manchester, who died last Monday after a long illness.
His funeral will be at Oldham Crematorium, Hollinwood, on Tuesday 4th May at 1.30 pm. 'It will be a colourful affair, with music, and will last about an hour,' writes long-time friend Jo Holden.
