    Hello

I have a small band, currently a 3 piece - guitar, bass, drums and am also looking for someone to play with as a duo. I'm based in Barrowford, but the band meets in Haworth. As we're not overly brilliant, at the moment we've just been meeting to practise/jam with of course a beer afterwards. It's been good fun, we are getting better and eventually we'll do a gig. Things like life, redundancy, job changes blah blah blah have been getting in the way so our practise time has been erratic. For this reason I'd like to look at the duo idea as well, with a view to dove-tailing into the band.

We play covers and self-penned material, influences:
The Waterboys, Steve Earle, Mary Gauthier, Rod Stewart, Pogues, Velvet Underground, singer songwriters in general, folk country rock!!

If you can really, really play, this probably isn't for you....you'd get bored with our ineptitude.... But if like us the musician in you is struggling to get out, and you'd like to give it a go in a relaxed, laid back atmosphere then give me a shout.

    Cheers,
    Ian
    Barrowford Bluesman!
